    New Dillon Press

Well after some time, I finally manged to purchase myself a Dillon 650 press.
    I bought the press in 9mm with a case feeder,Strong Mount,Bullet Tray Kit/Strong Mount,Powder Check,Case Gauge,Primer Flip Tray,I have a Dillon Roller Handle & ×4 Pack Primer Pickup Tubes awaiting delivery.
Got a Lyman 1200Pro Tumbler also to get those cases nice n Shiney.
I also bought and installed a Ultimate Shellplate Bearing Kit & Camming Pin Bearing, which also came with Powder Measure Knobs,Low Mass Detent Ball & Clamp/Cam screws.
Have now fastened down to bench & have set up dies/powder thrower.
Done a test run of rounds & have chrony for speed and PF,have since done my first lot of ×2000rnds ...
Setting up press was pretty straight forward & didn't take too long(especially once I decided to consult the instructions lol)
Operating the press is unbelievably smooth.
I'm looking forward to smashing out many many many thousands of rnds off this press Name: arrived.jpg

Very cool, reloading high volume it make sense. I would hate to think how much it costs but time is precious.

How long did it take you to reload 2000 rounds.?

Manufacturer quotes x800rnds an hour ... which would be possible if you had several primer pick up tubes full and at the ready .... my mate and I were doing this easily on his 650 ... one filling primer pick up tubes, powder measure, filling case feeder with brass and projectiles onto tray... And the other working the press, then swapping to give each other a break, works like a well oiled machine .

Think it worked out to be roughly x600 - 700 rnds per hour by myself ...should be able speed this up when i get me extra pick up tubes and get my "Lets make it RAIN" hat on

goes in the same place as the powder check but you dont need that for 9mm if your lighting is good can see if not enough powder need to watch the bullet feeder and so the powder because about 1/50 comes out upside down may be i havent got mine quite right but can do 100 rounds in less than 5 minutes then got to reload the primers

I have a My Bullet Feeder and 10 primer pick up tubes for my 650.
Can easily do 1200 rounds per hour.
Picking up 1000 primers is the part I hate. I flip 500 at a time to cut time.

CZ is still shooting great , infact it shoots better than the "nut behind the butt" I shoot with it once if not twice a week .... only thing ive replaced is the front high vis site ,as I guess i knocked and broke it at some stage .

Different but similar, long time back when the kids were young nibble fingered buggers I would do about a thousand rds an hr on a square deal.
The child on my left was the case feeder the child on my right was the bullet feeder. My job was to keep an eye out for their fingers and pull the lever as fast as i could without any hospital trips.
    Made a 1050 just boring!
