Very interesting to see that Lapua have decided to make brass with a rebated rim (284) and belted magnum (300WM).

Would have thought an SRP option would have been mentioned but then again it's a lot of powder...

Straight 284 Lapua brass. How good!

It'll be interesting to see what the neck thickness is on the .284 – whether Lapua match the thickness typically seen on the Winchester cases, or something more similar to when their 6.5-284 cases are necked up. Note to self: delay buying reamer until next year.

Petersen brass is available. QC just as good if not better and available (last time I looked). I'd doubt the price will be different. Get that reamer now while you still can.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Is it interesting considering they already make rebated rim brass in very close to the same dimensions? The belted brass is a bit more surprising.

I’m just about to redirect my 300 windbag.
I wonder if it’s all made by Norma for Lapua. Apparently the old lapua windbag brass was made by norma.
