    Different batches of brass could theoretically throw a wee bit of a spanner into the works though.... ?

    Yeah, but like anything to do with shooting I think diminishing returns also comes into it.
    My primary focus around annealing is brass longevity first, then the other benefits subsequent to that. I’m satisfied I’m getting a concise annealing process over other systems and (for me) the AZTEC mode isn’t worth one of my Lapua cases every new batch.
    The fact there is differences case to case means I’m personally happy to run within a level of standard deviation from absolute optimum.
