Not only seen the ad but have used the bullets. They seem to do what the ad says and I am happy that their advertised BC is very close to the mark. Started with the match and have now bought some x to try one game
Yeah its been around since before we could get the bullets, all a load of marketing shit i reckon, and an excuse to raise their prices to those of their competitors.
I was shooting the old Amax the other day at 1100 and 1300 yards, and the ballistic solution was perfect for elavation using the G7 BC, or maybe a muzzle velocity of 3k isnt fast enough to get them melting?
I've used quite a few boxes of both. I don't know for sure if the inconsistent results I had at 1000m was just me or my new guy reloads. But my new barrel and the new ELDM's do the trick right out further so they aren't worse at least. I've measured a few and they seem to be mostly identical as my gear can tell. The only way I'll go back to bobs bergers is if they drop the price to match.
147gr 6.5mm bullet... should be good
#BallisticFists
The BCs on the new heavier ELDM offerings seem pretty optimistic....

New 260 load slower than 6.5 creedmoor while using the same projectile
Has anyone used the 140gr Match ELD loaded exactly the same as the 140gr Amax loads?
Did it shoot much the same?
I still have plenty of the 140 Amaxes

I would be interested to see how the 147gr runs in a short barrel 6.5x284, the BC looks impressive.
