I wasn't actually using the sun shades as I didn't think I needed them. (I was shooting under cover of a roof.) But I'll try it again with them over and see what happens.Quote:

@kutu i was having the same issue with big spreads on that chrony ,it may not be you i was getting 200 fps spread on premium factory ammo.
That thing has seen some action probably only good as a guide.

Finish with croney. I think it may needs calibration, results are all over the shop, 200-300fps spreads on loads that have been confirmed to be consistent in the past and with premium factory ammo also.
...And here I was pulling my hair out thinking it was my reloading!...:)
The drop method works good. Tried it on the weekend. Just shoot a group at 100m and then go back to 300 then 500 and measure then play around with the calculator until it makes sense.
Who has the chronograph now? I am needing it for my load development soon.

Morning fellas , is the chrono still available? My one isn’t working correctly and I’d be like to use this one too check .

Was it a one off reading mate?
Yeah , only one reading came up , kept reading error2 which is the second marks not picking up the projectile.
My 260 is doing 2855 with 120 ttsx’s so I’d be pretty bummed if the prc is only doing 2711.
Is this still available?
Is this back in action? Happy to throw some courier tickets in with it for next few trips it does.
Or does any one have one around around Northland I could throw 2 shots over? Would like to get an accuratish number for rangefinder ballistics.
