    Nosler 129grn 6.5 LRAB

Anyone have any thoughts on how these go in a 6.5 Creedmoor ? or how they work on animals . Or perhaps a better question is what projectiles are you using .Thanks

I’m currently using the 142 LRAB in my 260. I have been very impressed with its performance so far on Sika from 50 to 570 yards and a big red stag at 30y.

Use the 129gr in my 16" 6.5CM with 2209 and like them very much.
Have a bit of a search in the reloading section. I put up the load development and results on animals there.
Can be a bit hard to find a accurate load due to the bullet construction but once that is sorted they are fine. Especially now that I have still 4 boxes left vs 1 box of 143g of ELD-X ...

Yeh I’d agree with regards to accuracy. I’ve had them hit and miss.
Currently running 140 Eldm and they are excellent on the deer I’ve shot. Most have been under 100 and performance had been better than anything other. Nothing has taken a step and accurate as.

I've tried them all 143 ELDX and 142 LRAB and 147 ELDM in the Creedmoor and the .260 they all work well and in my rifle shoot the same POI.
I do like the 142 and the 143

129gr ABLR recovered from an average body sized red stag shot last week. He was 30m below me, looking up while quartering slightly away to the right. Shot him in the front of the neck and bullet traveled inside his neck into the chest cavity and got stuck in his left shoulder blade bone. Dropped right where he was standing.

That's out of a suppressed 16" CM going around 2500fps

SST kill well as long as they aren’t going super fast, the 140 will be fine under 2800
