    Nosler 6.5 125 grn Partitions

Anyone used these on deer sizes animals?
They are not cheap but they shoot really, really well thru my AI barrel.

That they're not exactly cutting edge design to justify the cost and I doubt they have any significant performance advantage in any way over a more modern design

Like I'm sure if you shoot a deer with them they'll die though

They drop Sika and Reds nicely with the 6.5-55 out to 400 yards, if that's any help to you.

That's a fair comment Gimp especially with the new high BC long range pills available now but for a good scrub/medium range bullet they would be ideal not really keen on polymer tips for close to medium range after hearing the stories of bullet blow ups with them. Sierra, speer and some of the older noslers are 60's ish but they are proven performers as you know.

polymer tips dont = explosive projectiles all the time. Nosler accubonds have polymer tips and they are a tough pill..

People only know that a bullet has blown up (fragmented) because they recover the animal, so it can't be too much of a problem I had one recently, but I've used 50 odd of the bullets on game previously without a problem so am cool about it.

The 125 Partition sound good to me. Soft front and firm arse. Perfect.

If you push them fast enough the front explodes & the rear pencils through apparently....

It is, thanks Andrew. They have the same Mpi as the 140 A max at my zero range so that's a bonus.
Got them going comfortably over 3000fps so they should be good to go.

Will tell you how they go in the 243 if it ever decides to be not broken

Old skool is still cool, and bullets are cheap if they shoot straight

Nah mate, too much overlap with the 7mm08 plus I have stockpiled 105 Amax for the coming Zombie apocalypse. Oh and you hate 243 so just to piss you off

Maybe if the 7mm08 become less trendy it may be off to Abe for a haircut and 6.5 barrel.

Good plan mate. I have got nothing stocked for the Zombies. I would just get run down by them and piss them off because they would starve.
