Anyone shooting these with good grouping? I'm having a hell of a time to get them to do any good

Some bullets just won't shoot in your rifle mate.
My first .260 barrel loved them and shot them well. The current one not so much.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
I use them in Mauser 98 actioned 6.5x47, so at modest velocities . . . about 2700. They shoot only OK, groups of 40mm or under at 100M. For my purpose fine, but the partitions have never had a real good reputation for accuracy . . . always minute of deer, not MOA!
I was quite keen on using these when I got my sako 85,, rifle didnt seem to like them though. Was the same with the barnes 100gr ttsx,, both grouped aroud 2-3 inches.
If you are looking for a slightly similar pill look at the Sierra Pro Hunter 120gn
Good to know its not just me then!
I was intending to use them for red deer stoppers, when a bit more pentration / bone smashing is needed at only medium ranges. So maybe I will stop experimenting and just deal with their foibles.
I get good accuracy from other projectiles such as the Amax 120.
Yep I use them, as my go to bullet in my .260 Kimber custom, group very well for me, 4 shots inside an inch, @2900, also shoot 120 Btip and 123 gr a-max, they all kill well, But I have more faith in the partion, for threw and threw penetration, and a big blood trail.
plenty of other choices,
Whats the twist reate on your barrel ? if its fast try the 140 gn partitions - a better "deer stopper" anyway. I run partitions in lots of different rifles and cals, from 2506 to 300wsm.
I have found they are always accurate, no issues getting 0.5 - 0.7 moa in any rifle. you might need to try slower powder or fiddle with seating depth ? I have never found them fussy to find a sweet spot
From a little research I think its a 1-9 twist, ( 18 1/2 inch wood stocked CDL Model 7 ) I think it must be a bullet style issue as it shoots the 120 Amax under MOA with either 2208 or 2209. Also likes the 140 Amax
I dont really want another powder type just to discover that these still wont shoot well in this rifle, like others have said plenty of styles to choose from.
