    I develop my loads using OCW, and I test at 150m, which is far enough to show decent divergence patterns and accuracy nodes.

    Its also not too far that shooting becomes a huge factor.

    The ability to shoot out to 300-500 m is not a given so if it were me I'd be hesitant about using that distance for my test loads.

    I have an OCW Test target for 150M which is marked up with the powder weights on it as they come off my OCW Load Dev Spreadsheet.

    Good record keeping is one of the most important things.
