    Once Fired Brass Worth

    I'm primarily interested in 7mm.08 but other calibres would help to give an idea, but what is the worth of once-fired brass compared to new? PPU, Federal, Nosler, Lapua, Winchester, Hornady, Remington, Norma etc. Is there a ratio that can be applied?
    New per 100: (FAC = From Ammo Calculations)

    Nosler = $285
    Lapua = $197
    Norma = $173
    Hornady = $185
    Federal = $174 FAC
    Remington = $170
    Winchester = $150
    PPU = $110 FAC

    Cheers

    Brand new Hornady is around $89/50 ($178/100) Norma is around $167/100.
    Once fired is worth 1/2 that in my book

    The ratio is tied to demand, if no one wants or needs it it's not worth anything. I do think that half price would be a good start if you find the right person. I personally have 500 rounds of once fired .308 that I can't give away because it's so common. Just have to find the right guy.

    I was playing the other day with reducing .303 British to 6.5 Japanese.

    From that I'm confident you can reduce once-fired .308 in a single sizing operation to 7mm.08 as long as you first anneal the neck.

    @Cordite But turning a 308 into a 7mm08 would be like turning Mike Tyson into Usman Ahmed...why would you

    Very easy to take .308 to 7/08 in one pass with a FL die. Bulk WW .308, .270 and .30-06 brass is $40/100 here. ADI should be $50/100. For hunting hard to justify paying to much more.

    Jolly Aussies, the prices in 1st post are an average of prices across about 10 different and mainstream online stores. Pay through the roof for everything here, even .22 costs nearly $20/100... literally the only reason I would ever live in aus.

    That's a really unfair comparison, comparing 7mm08 with that posturing little fool.

    Unfair......but funny.

    They are Canadian IMPERIAL, the shipping would kill the deal. Thanks for asking though.

    It depends what cal is popular and if there is a squeeze on supply. I would think once fired brass holds 65% value, especially if you have a good quantity of them
