    I never bothered to fix the donuts on my cases cause I read that trimming them off the inside doesn't really fix the problem, and the only way to really fix them is to "push" them to the outside of the neck with a expander, and trim them off on the outside. I've never had the right gear to do that.

    I have never used it but Bertram brass has, in the past at least, had a reputation for poor quality.
    In some of the big bore calibres I'm told it wasn't unusual to get split necks even after one firing of moderate loads. At least online I read of many shooters who won't touch Bertram brass.
