Thread: papper patch question

im thinking to play with a 45 cal sharpes paper patch rifle my question is i heard you can shoot with out paper patch cartrige just fill the chamber up any help would be great cheers

The nitrated paper cartridge is just a neat and tidy way of doing it. Dropping a correct size lubricated bullet into the leed and filling it up with 2F will work fine. I need to make a mould for my 1853 slant breech carbine and use it the same way.
