    Parker Hale .270 ammo suggestions

I just picked up a beautiful example of a safari super in .270, and was wondering if anyone has tried different ammo on these rifles.
Ammo isn't cheap and I'm new to this calibre so it would be awesome to get an idea of what brand and grains to try.
I will be playing around with it at the range first to get familiar with it, then I plan to point it at some wallabies for a bit of real world practise at longer ranges than I'm used to.

My Father in Law shot one of these for decades and it always like Winchester ammo, in particular the 130gr Silvertip or if that's now no longer available the 130gr PowerPoint.

Another one worth checking is the Federal Powershok (blue box) as I always found it shot similar to winchester when I ran factory ammo in my rifles.

I got given some highland 130grn...been really impressed with it for a budget load....shot a couple or four deer with it so far and no complaints at all. winchester bog std 150grn stuff is good bush load.PERSONALLY wouldnt bother with hornady superpreformance load unless you intend to go long range dialing blah de blah.

Cheers guys, will definitely start out with some 130gr in Winchester or highland.
I'm not one to buy the most expensive or best rounds... Good enough is good enough for me but don't want to buy junk.

My first centre fire was a parker hale 270. It also loved the winchester powerpoint 130gr.
