Pistol case making & reloading the India/Pakistan way.

I Just thought you'd enjoy the careful manufacturing & reloading example portrayed in this vid I found.
I wouldn't advise buying ammo from these guys.
My reloading efforts don't seem so bad after all.

Handfuls of powder starting @ 12;58 but no doubt it still all works ok.

    Cool video.
Not much in the way of H&S monitoring going on.

At least there was no child labour being used.

I would have loved a job like that when I as a kid.
Probably safer than half the unmonitored attempts at making similar stuff I got up to.

They may have all been doing that job for 40 years and no new staff taken on.

Brilliant. Loved the precision powder charging. Compressed load - wonder what the powder is.
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Except when someone makes a fatal mistake.
I bet they all count their fingers @ the end of the day & are grateful if they have all their digits, as to lose ones concentration means losing a finger or part thereof.
I think I'll just stick to doing my reloading a bit slower with a measured approach.

    Maybe we over complicate reloading

People say lee presses are shit, look at what they use. Those guys would see all the crap we think we need to reload our ammo and be scratching their heads.....

Would be easy to speed up the powder filling part.
What's the little bit he puts under the primer?

I think that is actually the cap compound. No anvils nothing. I bet that would be the weak part of the process, the primers misfiring. (I am just guessing though, maybe they all work fine.)

100 year old manufacturing. That looks pretty much what the factories making ammo back in the early parts of the 20th century were doing, and I bet those same machines came from those factories that the British set up

Ha! I load .44-40 compressed loads, I am going to load the powder in like that from now on.

The guy that made me laugh was the one at then end putting the red laquer around the primer with a felt pen. Did anyone spot the Winchester white packet laying on the bench? This may be ammo you are buying...
