PMC Brass 222
I recently bought some once fire PMC brass and today I started doing some load development for my 222 with it and had misfires on every round due to light primer strike. I noticed that the primers seem to have seated really deep on the PMC brass which is what is causing the light strikes. I have a whole heap of PPU brass that came with the rifle, switched to that and the problem disappeared and primers seat nice and flush.
Has anyone else had this problem? Are they designed for a different primer?

Using CCI BR4 small rifle primers

Seems strange, I use cci 400 primers in pmc .222 brass no issues.
Maybe not all PMC has the same depth?

My guess is the primers are a little low, the shoulder/headspace a little short & the primers a little hard, added together = misfires...
Fed 205s maybe your friend in this instance, typically the firing pin only has to look at a Federal primer for it to go bang, compared to CCI...
