PMC Brass Quality
Afternoon All
I've been given a 5 boxes of old PMC factory 6.5x55 ammo to use up.
Are the cases good enough quality to reload them or am I better off getting some "better" brand cases for reloading?
I seem to recall bitching and moaning about the quality of the cases some years ago.
Only loading for hunting, not long range bullshit ;)
Thanks

I've loaded some pmc 6.5 ammo a few times before I lost them. They were fine for hunting

Ive had no problems with PMC.

I seem to recall PMC was Pongsoon Metal Corporation of south Korea. Reloaded tons of there 30 mi carbine and 308 with no problems years ago. I don't know what there name is now. The price you've "paid" for the stuff is reasonable so even with only 5 reloads per case (and you should get more as it's not a high pressure cartridge) you're so far ahead you'll almost come up behind yourself.

I got 140 new pmc cases for my 6.5x55 and they seem pretty good, upto my second load on some so can't really speak for longevity but it seems fine in my howa.

Well it sounds like I better pick them up as I use them then.
Thanks

they are shit ill dispose of them for you

PMC brass was held in high regard in it's day. It's at the very least, comparable to Remington.

Lol Remington. I'm accumulating a good amount of PMC 5.56x45 as I fire it. Might try some loads today.
