You make enough of something there is bound to be some that fail / out of spec. They are meant to be shot at the factory for accuracy testing. Obviously it wasn't caught there either.

Take it back to where it was purchased I'm sure they will get it sorted or a new one.

I'm a bit biased and they have a good reputation for good reason. Light, accurate and reasonably priced...Well used to be. Some better value for money options now but generally heavier.
