    Posting Primers???

Does anyone know if one can post primers? I have someone going south where there are some but she's flying. Would she be able to post them to me and if so what company?

Should be able to send them as a standard DG. Can't send to rural address with that however.

Anything I've bought on TM has been carefully wrapped and sent CP. Busineses have sent via Aramex or Toll.
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

To do it legally would cost a fortune as you need a DGD and MSDS to be submitted for approval via NZ Post courier network. This is generally outside the scope of the average customer. Aramex won't touch class 1 goods as far as I know.

Primers are Class 1 DG - there is no 'small quantity' limit below which Class 1 becomes a consumer quantity so unless you have MSDS, DG paperwork complete as well as cargo segregation sorted (unlikely in a courier situation) they probably will decline to handle them.

I've had primers posted regular mail service.and powder sent like this too.but I would suggest to have it sent the proper way to avoid disappointment. Or take it to a gun shop maybe they can send with one of there shipments at a lower cost rate

Hmmmm, might not be worth the risk. I still have a few hundred so bound to get some closer to home before I run out.
