I spent the weekend reading about RL-26 in the -06 case in various .264 and .277 cartridges.
There's a lot of data available from the US for the 6.5-06 A Square.
A Quickload model with the 140gr SST shows and easy 3100fps, staying below pMax. You can get that up to 3200fps if you're prepared to go to a 100% case fill. This assumes SAAMI c.o.a.l. but I have adjusted the weighting factor to reflect the overbore case, as per Pierre van der Walt studies.
If I end up going this way (-06 case necked down) then RL-26 would be the first powder I'd test.
Taking a look at @300_BLK's suggestion, RL-33, you have to get into slightly compressed loads to reach 2800fps, but it remains a low pressure combustion right up to properly compressed. You reach 3100fps somewhere about 110% case capacity. It's an interesting idea though, lower pressure for the same velocity, assuming the accuracy is there. I have zero experience of compressed loads.
