Hi All
First time poster long time reader.

Where is everyone getting their powder from?
Im after some 2206h or CFE223 for a short barrelled 7mm08 as factory ammo is pretty scarce and I have access to a handy reloading set up>
Looking at using 120NBT (I have 25 on hand) or 130 speer spbt.
Happy to swap for a nearly full box of 150gr 270 sst or a +3/4 full tub of 2213sc that is surplus to requirements.

ADI Benchmark 2 is the same as Hogdon Benchmark (and is made by ADI), and IMR 3031 is shown by ADI as a close equivalent (with its own data of course). While it may not be your hearts desire, it is an excellent powder across multiple calibres and has load data published for 7mm08

There is a Trademe auction up where the seller has 4 1kg bottles and will ship fir $10, The buy now is $179. Not a bad price of a kg in today's market.

...and some others, like myself, way back before the expected law changes where to happen straight after Christchurch incident.

I have 2x full cfe223 (pretty sure its 2x from memory) that i will sell, i went a different direction. however i dont live where my loading gear is so will have to work it in with when im able to get it. Possibly this sunday

What part of the country are you in? Will be keen on one of those! Pm me if you like

Hi Bhess.

Keep an eye out for some of the vhitavouri powders as there maybe something that's similar burn rate to 2206h or cfe223.

The other powder I'd look at which I've just used to work up a load in my mates 7mm08 is: IMR 4166 enduron.

I'd give dead eye dicks, tenpoint one or Ozark outdoors a bell and run it past them for suitable equivalents.

Those 3 are all relatively close to you location wise.
