About to head north to the big smoke tomorrow and I’m wondering if you can buy powder for reloading over the counter at Gun City etc?
( been out of the loop for a few years)

Yes, at Gun City. They even had some R26 a week ago (Wellington).

Yes. Their website states it is company policy to sight your FAL, though the guys in Hamilton didn't seem to know about this last time I was there.

GC, Reloader Supplies, Serious Shooters and the guys out at Kumeu who seem decently priced all sell over the counter . GC have had some stuff on sale lately at good prices.

GC Dunedin had 1.5kg of Trailboss for $205, didn’t want/need that much so going to get 8oz container when it comes in.

Apparently couriers won’t handle propellants - but will do paint thinners, loaded bullets etc. what’s wrong with these clowns??

Gunworks shipped to me overnight (chch to Dunedin) using toll couriers. Not sure what north/south island shipping is like but no problems coming from gunworks.

Yes, check with the second tier couriers, toll, pbt etc.
I sent ammo down south with toll in April just in case avsec took exception to my ammo on in my luggage on the plane.
