Thread: Powder choice for the rem mag

Was going to grab some 2217 as advised but seems this can be hard to get on a regular. Now looking at 2225 and adi book looks good.
Rem 700 with 26" barrel. 162 amaxs. Norma brass. Fed 215s.

Whatdo yas reckon? Want to stick to adi also.

I use 2225 plus the rest of the components you list. Awesome

73gn 2217, Norma case, 215 primer, 180 Berger VLD: Average fps 3000. Half inch on a good day, three quarter on an average day. Model 70 Winchester Extreme.

Might have to put a scope back on it and stop playin with these pissant 6.5's I seem to have aquired
