    Powder measure.

Anyone else have a problem with their powder measure when using cylindrical powder ( AR2208 etc.)? The finer ones ( AR2205, shotgun stuff) meters fine. Mine hangs up on cutting through the large grains and the result is an incorrect charge due to the resistance. I'm currently trying to work up loads for a Smelly MK1 in 25/303 so it's imperative not to fuck up with the low pressures it works under. Tedious weighing each charge though. Perhaps the drum is worn/blunt on this no name brand measure?

When in doubt chuck it out, buy a new one they are cheaper today! the plastic fantastic hornardy or the likes work well.
But I still do a lot of weighing of my hand loads.

The RCBS one I owned years ago was made of metal (heavier), so reduced the effect, thanks for reminding me. I'm in the habit of weighing every 6 th charge from a powder measure.

2213 is like logs....you need to be really firm and get a CLUNK CLUNK when using throw lever, any charge that feels like it hangs up...weigh it and next one...or just use lee spoon and trickle the last tiny bit...its just about as fast as thrown weight, with piece of mind as you KNOW its right as you watched the scales tip.

Yep, put your shoulder into it. Show the kernels who's boss.

That said I'm also one of those who feel the need to check-weigh every load
