    Powders?

So I've been looking for data for the long range Accubonds.
And some people are using rl25.
Looking at adi website it lists ar2225 as equivalent of atleast similar.
Who had used both powders and can tell me?

2225 is Hogdon Retumbo and is one of their "Extreme" range of powders. RL25 I understand can be a touch temperature sensitive so the ADI would win that race.
I've used RL22 and it ran well in a 7RemMag but I went 2225 as it appeared to be more available (and it came in a 500g tin rather than the 1lb).
The 2225 meters reasonably well and gives good load density in 7mmRemMag for me.
What's the case you want it for?
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

270 wsm. I think the trick might be slow powders for the heavy for calibre projectiles. To make the 150s shoot.
Yes i would prefer a temperature stable powder.
    Thanks for your input kj

AR2225 is Retumbo. Same product different tin (different market).

Spanners did a thread here to list the numerous ADI-Hogdon rebranding http://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co.n...ivalents-1034/
