1 inch groups.
Haven't tested it on anything bigger then a peacock yet.
Imagine it would work ok in sensible range
I got a box today to test cause I couldn't find anything definitive on line (for the 123gn load) and my Ruger didn't seem to like the Hornady stuff much . . . however I just noticed the scope was loose so no doubt any sort of ammo will shoot a hell of a lot better with that fixed!!
I'll try it out tomorrow.
There was a recall on the older stuff a while back. Overpressure and necks splitting or something. They stopped production for a long time and only started again fairly recently. Unsure of exact dates - but check yours was made after Nov 2019.

So after a basic test the rifle (a Ruger Ranch 16" barrel jobbie) is shooting both Hornady 123gn ammo's into 3 shot groups of 20-40mm - plenty good enough for "minute of deer" with factory ammo. I'd expect to reduce these group sizes quite a bit with a tuned reload.
However the PPU was hopeless in my rifle - 60-75mm groups being as good as it got - so thats a bust. Bugger cause its way cheaper than Hornady.
If anybody would like the balance of the packet of PPU to try in another rifle you're welcome - free as long as you report the results here!
Run the hornady black.... awesome accuracy in a minihowa. Even better is 95g vmax, + cfe223 + small rifle.magnun primers!!
