I'm short on PPU brass which is superb brass, there's no new unfired PPU out there but a lot new ADI brass at quite a good price. I've read its supposed to be made to military spec. Anyone compared the two?

In what calibre?
I use PPU and ADI in .223 and I find the PPU superior in terms of longevity. Aside from that, no issue. The PPU in that calibre has less of a taper in the wall thickness internally... that is to say the taper on the ADI brass doesn't extend up the inside as far as the PPU does. This means the PPU is thicker and therefore stronger further up the sidewall. I have posted photos here before but PM me and I can send you a photo which explains what I mean (if that explanation is lacking).
All of that said, the ADI has been good enough in all other aspects. I assume other calibres are not necessarily similar in their cut-away profile.
Hope that helps.
