    Pressure!!!

Loaded up 50rnds of 7mm practical,
Went to the range to zero the new suppressor.

First shot out of the lot, over pressure. Bolt jammed. Oh no!

Went to jaco goosens house, and he whipped off the barrell. Finally the bolt moved and the primer fell out. A pice of fibrous material was stuck in the flash hole. Can only think it was tumble media. Oh well, bolt was fine, extractor needed a lil manipulation.

Yay good to go, and hole though hole again!

    Thanks jaco, my hero.

3x guns out yesterday hitting 6 inch gongs at 550m consecutively. Including my 338br throwing 175gr cutting edge bullets at 2250fps. Should kill out to 500 and still expand!

Used to notice that a lot with walnut media getting stuck in the flash hole. Good reminder for us all.

If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.

I use a piece of wire.

For some rifles I mainly necksize using collet dies so tumble before depriming. Others I full length resize, and tumble before and after, there are usually a few blocked flash holes, and sometimes the whole pocket is full.

I may just stick to my wet tumbler for a while again! I just loved that polished, annealed case look!

I never tumble my brass - just clean primer pockets and get on with it.
