What's everyone using to seat White river primers my Lyman hand tool doesn't seat them very well.

I have found with the Lyman hand primer I have to manipulate the case so it sits straight to be able to seat the white rivers properly. I also back off the handle just a smidge and rotate it 90 degrees and give it another squeeze and it seems to work OK. I have read they only really work well with the Lyman shell holders, but I don't have any so can not talk to that.

I found the WR primers a pain to seat (in Win brass). Ended up uniforming all pockets, and adjusting priming tool (Hornady) to seat a little deeper than usual to try get them in. Apparently shell holder can also make a difference.

No small rifle. Both for LR but one has a shellholder for 30.06 head size family, the other shellholder for 375 H&H head size family.
Actually one machine would be perfectly adequate for all SR and LR applications as changing shellholders and primer stems takes only seconds but after buying one I was practically gifted one as well and instead of stashing it in a cupboard just set it up for use. Saves me farting around finding the right shellholder when changing to one or the other brass head size.
