Ive done it often after using an inertia puller (the lee one) I try not to have to do it to often as its more fun to "push the bullet out of a barrel"
Cheers and Amen to that. I’ve got 60 rounds loaded but realised the electronic scale was drifting so I’m going to pull them. I’m sure they’re safe as it’s not a hot load (well it’s at book max) but some could be up to.5 grain over which just feels wrong. So I’m using the Hornady cam lock puller which is quick and easy and not harming the projectiles. They don’t push back into the case by hand so I’m hoping I don’t have to resize in addition to reweigh and reseat!

One thing with a compressed load you really have to watch for powder left in the case. It sticks. Plus it gets lodged in the flash hole. Not sure if I want to go digging in there too vigorously.
Bare in mind that a compressed load can require considerable neck tension.Quote:

Very good point thanks. I haven’t measured but last time I pulled a bullet I think it had about a thousandth each side. Which is still ok I think? Maybe I should check with the vernier.
I am around a thou but not compressed in my 260. Itt seems to be ample. My ES over a chrony is pretty low and if I increase the neck tension it jumps around a bit.Quote:
