    Question - neck sizing

    Hey all so question for 7mmsaum do i need a "short" hornady neck sizing die or med ext

    All the short magnums benefit from proper full length sizing, ie just bumping the shoulder enough for them to fit the chamber nicely.

    Their case design & running pressure usually mean neck sizing produces erratic chambering issues, especially in older brass, not extremely desirable in a hunting rifle.

    You require a Hornady 7mm magnum neck sizer if you want to go down that road.
