    Quickload users

    are there any quickload users that feel like checking the below for me?

    6.5 creedmoor
    Hornady brass - i believe 53.5 gr h20
    142gr smk 72.5mm oal
    Reloader 16 powder
    Curious about how the theorized data maps against my loads from today

    Thanks @Tentman my magnetospeed was saying that 43.5 gave an average of 2699, given its not standard OAL i was curious about how it sat theoretically against things like quickload predictions. Alliant data gives amax of 43.9 gr with an OAl of 2.8" which i would have thought would give more pressure being shorter, seems they are more ok with higher pressure?

    Q/L is a guide only and needs good input data to give good results, usually with good inputs it should be within 15-40 fps. Is the case capacity you gave from a case fired in your rifle then measured?? Q/L (and GRT) do show significant effects on changing COAL but in practise it seems to be a bit less especially with the "pointy" bullets being used these days . . .

    And just to make your day, I think my V2 magnetospeed has been giving me slow readings, I really must get it calibrated . . .

    Thats my other consideration, seem to have to bump speeds up in ballistics apps when in the field and its missing a few shots (v3 bayonet after the lost one got a love bite)
