    R93 7mmRM 162gn Amax Load

Hi - playing around with a load, and wondered if anyone has done one up for their's with similar ingredients?

    Win Brass
    CCI mag primer
    2217

I have seat the bullet 50 thou from the lands, and 73.5gn shot 1.5" and 74gn shot an inch (but of mirage today in the sun). No pressure based on primers so was going to lift 0.5 and 1gn powder to see if groups tighten. Might also try 20 thou jump but will drop back to 73.5gn first.

Haven't got fps yet as want to get most accurate load first.

Will need to check my jump for you but I have the exact same barrel shooting A-Max over 72g 2225 @ 2950fps. Norma brass, Fed 215 primer. Spent a long time wasting bullets trying to shoot close to the lands.

I probably came in a little high after some initial pressure testing starting at 73.0gn on paper. Am going to start back at 70gn and go from there. I think the jump is ok, have a hornady gauge to measure very well and then off the shoulder on the micrometer.

    With the comparator 0.020 off = 3.714

I took about 8 measurements with different projectiles firmly on the lands and 3.734 seemed around the average, although lowest was 3.730 and highest 3.736.
