Used one found it ok.....
Saved a lot of time.
I have the Lyman equiv
To be honest, saves little time in my opinion.
Time saved is screwing out die and another back in.
Lockrings can be done up so die is pre set, so it really negates that
You 'could' load 1 round start to finish at a time, but you'd prob loose time with turning the head for each stage.
If you load 2 calibers only then you could leave dies setup.
Both the Lyman and the Redding so have a nice leverage ratio - both alot better than my single stage Boss
Thanks guys
Our club has a new one and for the $700? it cost it seems over-priced. You could do 2 calibers at once, but I cant see why getting a Lee classic turrect 4 hole press and a $22 spare head per caliber doesnt solve that one far cheaper (<$300). Its a nice green....but Im a red guy....
Or for about the same money ($800) you can get a Dillion 550B which comes with a die set of your choice.
(Im ok with blue as well)

$700 seems a little expensive???
This is the price DED are selling them for:
Deadeye Dicks - Redding
Hunting is not a hobby.....its an addiction
Go a forster bonanza press - no shell holders needed and the dies just slide straight in.
Co-Ax ® Press with "S" jaws, Model B3 - Forster Products
I found a second hand one on trademe.
Right or wrong , I look at the lower dillons as not that good ? , and If I want a progressive in the future ( one that works real good & can do rifle cals , it will be probably the 1050 , .
And yeah was thinking under 500 for one .
Cheers Guys
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
Chris
I would go the Dillon 650 not the 1050 - the 650 uses standard reloading dies where the 1050 uses dillons own dies - if they don't make the die that you want your shit outa luck.
Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
I just had a quick look at the 1050 , and the info I can find says std 7/8x14 dies , the only Dilln with onw dies is the Square deal press ?
