    Greetings,
AR2208 is easy to ignite, especially with LRP in a .308 case. Magnum primers give no advantage and possibly less than that. My go to powder in the .308 is AR2206H and has been for some years. Previously Dupont IMR4064 was used that resulted in compressed loads and most top loads of AR2208 are likely to be compressed in many cases as it is a little slower from my tests. IMHO AR2206H is a better powder for the .308 for most applications.
    Regards Grandpamac.
