    Win 760 works very well in this cartridge as well. Belmont sells it pretty cheap.

    Did you find it easy to get a use able hunting load with this powder?

    No problem. W760 has a similar burning rate to 2209. Works well in .270 and getting it from Belmont would be the cheapest fodder for it. 53 grns will get you 3k with 130 grn projectiles. Its what I used for a mates .270 for years.

    Thanks Bruce. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the 243. Hope to get similar velocity too!

    I load this load for 5 diff rifles and they all clover leaf with them can't go to wrong
