Thread: Reloading for 270 Win

Superformance has been the best powder I have used in the 270 Win. I would only get around 2800 fps with the 150 gr Partition with 2213 SC so I tried Superformance as the burn rate is similar to 2213SC and used 57grs of Superformance with the 145 gr ELDX for over 3100fps. It was accurate as well, three shots into one enlarged hole at 100 yds. Others have tried that load but haven't had the same results but it works for me. Superformance is a temperature sensitive powder so be aware that summer temps could increase pressure. Load lower than my load and work up to fine what suits your rifle.
