    I know nothing about the K except what I have read.
    Funnily enough I was in AMP's the other day and asked about annealing standard Hornet and Alex said not a problem.

    I would anneal in your case.
    I'll probable start annealing my std Hornet some time in the future mainly to try and prevent split necks.
