Always keep it in mind;
Increasing the effective range of a rifle can be achieved in one or more of the following ways:
Increased muzzle velocity
Select a bullet with a higher ballistic coefficient (more aerodynamic)
Move your firing point to a higher altitude (lower air pressure)
