I use the Lee neck size for 308w to 1000yds target shooting. I have yet to see any proof anywhere its inferior to a $300+ so called match grade die and the complete Lee ultimate set is about $90. If its target shooting consider the lapua 308w large primer competition brass it is superb. Dont get the small primer stuff though it can have a slightly better SD but doesnt like cold weather or so I am told.

I am curious as to why a cartridge case would not like the cold weather - needs a better beenie? If you are talking about ignition issues with some powders that a bit more definitive and that can be overcome in the Lapua SR brass by using a magnum primer but that sorta defeats the purpose of SR primer pockets.
