    reloading for a short barrel ar

    anyone have a good reload for a 11.5 inch ar15 1/7 twist ,i have plenty of brass and primers ,need to know if i need a faster burning powder if so what should i use and what projectile thinking 62gr adi fmj for pinking /3gun

    2206h would be the powder of choice, good burn rate for that length and that projectile weight is fine for a 1:7 twist.

    Quickload says you'd be better off considering Win 748 or CFE223 as the 2206H is a tad slow for best velocities - you might get to 2600 if you're lucky with an optimum powder
