    Reloading Supplies for .38Spec/.357Mag...

    Hi,
    Hello to all.
Anyone know of a gun shop anywhere within 100 mile (160kms) radius (or more) of Paraparaumu / Otaki area that still has stocks of Small pistol Magnum Primers, ADI AP70N powder (or any pistol powder W231, HP38 etc), fresh brass in .357Mag and .38Spec, and 158gr SWC cast lead bullets in .38Cal (Hornady for preference but any will do... or any HBWC, any round nose cast or jacketed in .38) as I've just had hells own job trying to get hold of any of these items over the last week.
Every web site shows them but as soon as you try and buy any of them they are "Out of stock and on back order".

    Thanks in advance...
    Cheers.

I can go one better than that.
I've got 5 or 6 boxes (250 in a box from memory) of Hornady 148gn HBWC projectiles to dispose of courtesy of a retired pistol shooter.
    PM me if you're interested.

Tried projectilesplus ? They had advertised recently that they had actual stock. Or cross over to the dark side and stick with 9mm lol

Reloaders are def out of 70N powder, tried to get some last week :-( stock expected in Jan sometime.

Sorry Forgot payment, thought I'd sent it but I forgot.
    Will send this morning.
Sorry 'bout that, it's a bit hectic at present.

    Cheers and Thanks

Never tried them before, I'll check 'em out.
9mm.... Not that likely, I'm really a Wheel-gun person. .22's OK in a "Semi Auto" format.
In many years of shooting I've never had a Jam or Miss-feed in a revolver.
I might consider A DE in .357Mag but that's probably the only full size SA I would probably think about.

    Cheers

Yeah Petone had some AP70N last month. There is a supply problem with this powder at the mo at ADI. So is hard to get all over.

Upper Hutt Gun shop should have what you want. Unique powder is the same burn rate as AP70n. I use small rifle primers for 357 mag .

    Hi,
I must admit that I have never tried Upper Hutt Gun Shop at all, probably because their web site is one of the worst designed web sites I have ever seen with no info on stocks of reloading powder, bullets, brass, primers etc... leastways none I couldn't find.

The powder I'm really after is Vihtavuori N320, I only bought the AP70N 'cause it was the only pistol powder that was available at the time and will keep me going 'till N320 becomes available again.

    Cheers
