Has anyone tried RL16 yet in a situation where they were using AR2209? I have read that (supposedly) it can give slightly better speed and lower pressure. It apparently also contains a decoppering additive

Here we go. Gibo will give us an update too, about his 260 trial

@Gibo is currently loading us up a few to try. He doesn’t know it yet though.

Not much... that was pretty punny though bro..
ferk 7 pages.... I have been running 2209 in a saum wild cat for a few years I only have an old version of quick load that doesn't have RL16 data. Can anyone tell me if the amount of powder they are using matches approx weights they used for similar loads with 2209? The closest data I can get to my load is for7x57AI looks to produce similar speeds/pressure at about 2 grains lower than a 2209 load is that a similar scenario to creedmore?
In my 6.5 Creedmoor, 42gr of 2209 with a 143gr eldx gave me more high pressure signs than 42gr of RL16 but the RL16 gave me 240fps more velocity than the 2209.
From what Ive read the RL16s burn rate is somewhere between 2208 and 2209 but produces less spiking pressure than both.
Just ordered 3 tins without even trying it
Should be easy enough to find a home for if it doesn’t work out
