    Rocket scientists only

Ok my hat is spinning a bit on this so I thought I would open up a can of worms and get opinions

    Loading for 260 rem

    short barrel of 18 . 5 inches

wanting to use 120 and 140 grn projectilea

now to the crux. In this short barrel am I better to use a faster style of powder such as 2208,
and for the heavier projectile am i best to go with a slower powder at all or not bother, and use the faster powder for both.

    I have on hand 2206 2208 and 2213

Everything I have read points to the slow powder not being completely burnt in under 22 in barrels , wether this is an issue is still open to debate.

The ADI manual shows that the slower powder will give higher velocities but this is in 24" barrels I just dont know if it will be true still for the short tube.
