    Rooky error # 5

So I decided to load up a dozen (sample pack) of accubonds for the 308 at the weekend.
Being lazy, and a smart arse, I thought it was a good idea to put a few mils of methelated spirits into a tuppaware container, and slosh the cases around in that before wiping them down ready to prime. Not sure why as I never usually do this
First shots at the range were misfires, with nicely struck primers.
Process of elimination and a bit of testing seems to have proved that the meths stuffed the primers.

Another lesson learned. Now waiting for my bullet puller to arrive, and I can start over with the ever growing box of stuff ups.

Cleanliness is next to godliness is the saying Pengy, esp when explosives are concerned
I remember a lazy mate who ran out of sizing lube and got some baby oil out instead of going down to the shop. Had it all over his fingers when priming. Same result as you had, a nice little click and no bang

Good to see your learning from your mistakes @Pengy

Leave the meths for the Wineos

    Cheers

Poly grips bro, best pullers out especially if you are only going to load em as test loads. Can mark the pill a tiny bit.

A quick trip to the Grumpy Bugger at Terminator products would have sorted that for you

I have the exact same collets but I still get slight marks on my 224 projectiles when I pull them.
