For the Maximus I just mark each fire with another dash - more of a research project more than anything due to the unique nature of the case. Over 10 fires now!!!

As for the 270WSM, I do nothing. some Winchester case have had only 4 or 5 and the most Federals are up near 9-11. I do anneal them every now and again. Each time I fire a bullet, it goes in the same place(ish) on the target, so don't believe it matters too much with this load and rifle combo. Out of about 600-700 rounds through it with these cases, I've only had 4 or 5 split necks - there are the Federal cases(my oldest ones) that I may not have anneal ever.
