    Sako 270wsm adi 2225 and 145gn eldx

As some of you know I've just had my sako re barreled and I've been itching to get it shooting.
I tried it with my old load or rl26 and it was absolutely shite like 3 " spread at 100 yards.
With all the hassle of trying to obtain rl26 I decided to try a more accessible powder that had been suggested to me cond time ago by a few of you guys.
    ADI 2225
Well I am one very happy camper did 8 lots of 2 at each load.

The loads with a * next to them all shot around 1/2" to 3/4" but the best load was also the fastest

    This was the fastest load

All in all a successful morning at the range

I did however suffer my first one of these on one of the lower charges.
Definitely not over pressure related as it was a fairly anemic load.
This brass is starting to get on a bit 6 maybe 7 reloads some of them pretty warm.
I will invest in some new brass next week.

Mine did. I anneal every time I reload now. That's stopped it.

That's looking pretty damn good Danny, that should be one grunty load. Look forward to seeing a few animals you take with it.

Cool, I've just sorted my 7RM in a similar fashion. Was a toss up between that and 270wsm in a factory rifle. I'm sure I wudda been happy with either.
What brake is that? I've got a Maisey vari max on mine. Never used a brake before. Astonishing..bit shouty but basically no recoil.

It's a greystone titanium brake, it's not as good as my gunworks ported brake but plenty good enough and It's super light

Wanna sell me yours ? If I made one it would be a very dangerous thing, happy to admit I'm not that skilled with my hands and don't really have much of a workshop. I'll probably look into paying someone to anneal my brass, it's not like it's a gong gun that sees hundreds of rounds it's purely a hunting rifle

Isn’t there someone who does it on an AMP for a reasonable price?

Just do it by hand. I use my little camp stove and hold the case by the base wile rotating it. When its too hot to hold I dip the neck into water. Hey presto. Im only doing the neck.

Its fixed the split neck problem and toughened my finger skin at the same time.
