    Salt Bath Annealing
    Postby buckeye43210 » 11 Apr 2017 22

Found a video on salt bath annealing. The salt is a eutectic mixture of 45% Potasium Nitrate (KNO3), 45% Sodium Nitrite (NaNO2), and 10% Sodium Nitrate (NaNO3).

I got NaNO2 and NaNO3 from Home Electroflash Resourcing Ltd and KNO3 off Trade Me. I mixed at 50% KNO3/45% NaNO2/5%NaNO3 as recommended by the guy at Ballistic Research (or whatever he is called - the guy from Canada that sells the kits)
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

I also have some NaNO3 available that I could send you. You only need 55g per kg of mixed salt. That will last ages

Cheers, appreciate the offer but it is not for me. Was asking for someone else.
I think they got it sorted as well.
