    Shelves for reloading bench... what?

I've got the bench, but I need shelf space.

    I've got 1m x 1m to play with...

What works best in terms of shelf space? Most reloading stuff looks pretty fiddly, so narrowish shelves (as in height)?

20cm shelf at bottom then 15cm shelves above?

Reloading manual is 35cm but that could just go under the shelves on the bench...

Has anybody got pics or comments?

You can get away with narrow shelf spacing if there's little room. All depends how much crap you need to have at hand. You need a separate bookcase either way. This is my actual loading bench which I constructed from a solid rimu top and two recycled rimu drawer sets. Built the upstand to suit and it's worked out well. There are quite a few projectiles in the bottom units and that makes it very stable. I do have the luxury of that big bench storage unit plus a closet for hunting clothes etc

I feel inspired by those pics, and at least until I action it also slightly ashamed.

I've got a cupboard 1.3x.5m, have managed to squeeze all the reloading gear in though needs to be organized or can get a bit tight.shelves are 150mm deep-about the size of a die box.Sure I'm not the.only one envious of 6x47's toy roomName: 20210615_094306.jpg

Hah - that's just showing off

    Nice.

My thoughts are to try to get away from piling stuff on top of stuff. I hate that.

Which is why I was thinking of the narrower (more accurately, lower) shelving height - more narrow shelves, less piling stuff on stuff, but no good if there is not enough room for anything.

Maybe one side of low shelves (10cm? 2 Hornady projectile boxes height?) and one side of higher shelves (ADI jug height - 20cm or so).

Bigger gap between the top and the ceiling for bigger boxes etc.

    What I ended up making.

Will mount on wall up 30cm or so.

Seems ok so far, only annoyance is reloading manual.
