    My Sako is 20" and the speed is still up there I'm getting 2810 with 143 ELDX so I wouldn't be to worried about loosing another inch.

    That’s some serious speed, they must be really different than the Tikka barrel

    Pretty much the same barrel you just need the right powder.
    I can get those speeds with both RL 26 and Hodgdon superproformance powder with Laupa SR primer brass

    Creedmoor but my old . 260 and my son in-law .260 do same speeds but with 18" barrels
