short barrels make rifles very handy, my last barrel cost me a grand and is only 13 inches long.

That's a great resource! Thank you for posting! Hopefully they'll drift into larger cartridges in the future. I feel like there's a real gap in knowledge relating to larger (IE 308 range) cartridges in short barrels. I know the prevailing belief is that they need longer barrels, but it would be good to see it proven, or solutions for getting them to shoot well in shorter barrels (IE faster powders etc). There's obviously a cost for every gain, but sometimes it's well worth it and not all that high
